Blog 5: Project Reflection and Working EQ

The Pentagon
  1. Positive Statement: As a result of completeting my summer mentorship I have gained so much first hand experience on what I plan to pursue as my career. I also have had a great mentor that has been of great help in answering questions and expanding my knowledge on what markerting consists of.
  2. EQ Content: I really found helpful an article called Marketing Manager Description. It gave in great detail the overall Outlook of the career but it also broke down different sections of the roles and duties of a marketing manager. This article not only helped answer my questions but it also informend me of alot of neat information that I wasnt aware of.
  3. What really has worked for me is that I have alot of connections to marketing managers, making information very accesible.
  4. What hasn't worked for me is the Math side of marketing. Math is not a very good subject of mine which means i'll have to work harder.
  5. My potential essential question is, What is the most succesful way to reach my target audience? For my mentorship I plan to help at alot of events by coordinating and promoting it. Thanks to my older brother one of his co workers who is a marketing manager was nice enough to be my mentor.
